Both natural and synthetic biocides derived from glucosinolates (GSL) are used as potential crop protectants for urban-farmed crops such as choy sum and xiao bai cai. We conduct both pre- and post-treatment analyses on the effects of GSL treatment on plant microbiome and therein, establish the best treatment frequencies against harmful fungi.
